All of our products have either been designed specifically for us, are exclusive to us in New Zealand or we import and distribute them through our sister company - www.bentam.co.nz

Shopping Cart

Every visitor to our online shop will be given a 'Visitors Cart'. This allows the visitor to store their products in a temporary shopping cart. Once the visitor leaves the online shop, so will the contents of their shopping cart.

Shipping & Delivery

New Zealand
Our very clever website will automatically add the shipping costs to your order when you go to checkout. NZ nationwide shipping will cost you NZ$8.50.

We use CourierPost for all our nationwide deliveries and delivery is by 'signature require'd only. If you are not home at time of delivery, a Card to Call will be left in your letterbox. Your parcel will arrive within 3-5 working days of receipt of order. Please note rural deliveries may take1-2 days longer. Delivery times quoted are subject to product availability. We will advise you if an order is to be delayed.

If you advise special delivery instructions with your order, we will do our best to advise these to the courier company - but please bear in mind that it is up to the courier driver's discretion as to whether they follow-through with your delivery instructions.

Please note that we cannot accept any responsibility for items that go missing when the signature on delivery option has been cancelled by the customer.

We cannot deliver to a PO Box or Private Bag so please don't ask us to - we hate to say no!

Australia
We love our brothers and sisters across the Tasman Sea. We will lovingly post orders to Australia using NZ Post. Orders under NZ$250 are sent by International Air and orders over NZ$250 are sent by International Courier.  Shipping to Australia is a flat rate of NZ$12.50 (this cost does not include tracking or insurance) and will take approximately 5-10 working days.

GST (15%) will be automatically taken off your order (all prices on our website are inclusive of this tax)... but do watch out as any additional taxes or duties that are incurred within the recipients country are the responsibility of the buyer/recipient.

International
We love to send our products to good homes around the world! We put everything into a bag and send it on its merry way by NZ Post. Orders under NZ$250 are sent by International Air and orders over NZ$250 are sent by International Courier.  Shipping internationally is a flat rate of NZ$30.00 (this cost does not include tracking or insurance) and will take approximately 10-15 working days (depending on your international location).

All Australia and International deliveries require a correct local telephone number so please make sure you add this when ordering. We can't deliver to a PO Box so please don't ask us to!

Orders & Payment

You will be prompted during the check-out process to select your preferred payment method.

Credit Card
We accept Visa and Mastercard payments through our secure webstore and also over the phone.  Australian and International customers will not be charged GST - the price excluding GST will be shown when you go to checkout and verify your order. Please note that international customers can only pay by credit card.

Please note that we do not currently accept payment by Diners, Amex, PayPal or cheque.

Direct Deposit
We also accept direct bank deposits/internet banking (NZ customers only). You will be given full payment instructions including our banking details, upon checkout. You can then make payment using Internet banking (you need to be registered for Internet banking with your financial institution) or over the counter at any ASB branch.

Once you place your order, an e-mail confirmation including an order number will be sent to the e-mail address that you entered on your order form.

All orders will be dispatched upon payment clearance (this may take approximately 1-3 working days).  You’ll receive a revised order status email from us advising that your lovely bits and pieces are on their way to you!

Returns and Refunds

We will of course meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

We are REALLY proud of the products we offer and we're sure you'll love them just as much. We deliver products of the highest quality which should arrive in excellent condition. We only hold limited numbers of each item and most are limited editions or one-offs - so please, PLEASE choose carefully because when it comes to exchanging goods we may not have a replacement.

Many of our goods are hand-made. We are sure you will be delighted with them but please bear in mind that there may be slight flaws and imperfections (... though this is part of their charm!) Remember that hand-made goods are checked over much more than commercial products and you can be assured that we have only chosen the best of the best - I am sure you will be satisfied!

We are committed to exchanging your goods within 30 days of purchase, providing the goods are in original condition. Goods must be in unused, unwashed condition and in original packaging. We ask that you choose carefully and check sizing and colours before ordering. Please do not break open packaging that is non-resealable if you wish for an exchange or refund. We do not have to provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully.

Please choose sale items carefully as they are non refundable and non exchangable.

With the exception of faulty goods we cannot refund delivery costs. If you have bought an incorrect size we will happily exchange it, although delivery costs will have to be covered by yourself.

We are unable to replace or refund items damaged through improper laundering, so please follow our washing instructions carefully.

If for any reason there appears to be something wrong with your product or you discover the item is faulty within 30 days of purchase, please send us an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we'll get the problem resolved as soon as possible. You'll be responsible for the shipping costs in getting the goods back to us.

Images & Colours
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products on this website. However, as the actual colours you see depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

Prices
All prices are in NZD and include GST (15%).  All prices are subject to change. We will always try and notify you of any price changes that may occur due to supplier increases. We will always try and pass on the best possible price to our customers.

Stock availability

Most of our products are hand-made by small manufacturers so stock quantities are low - more often than not, when something sells out we will not be able to get more. So best buy when you get the chance!

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers can only be redeemed against products shown on the Unique Boutique website - www.uniqueboutique.co.nz. Gift vouchers should be treated like cash - they cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, are non-returnable and are non-transferable. Gift vouchers must be used in ONE transaction only and cannot be split. Change will not be given should the purchase amount be less than the value of the gift voucher. A freight charge will be applied on the products purchased when redeeming the gift voucher. Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. Gift vouchers must be used prior to the expiry date.
