Hi, I'm Tam...
My husband and I are originally from the UK and we have 4 gorgeous children (our newest arrival born June 2011 to the right!)
Having arrived in Auckland a few years ago, I trawled the Internet to search for a decent baby/kids stuff website from this side of the world but found a painful lack of choice.
In my quest to find my kids something different, I found that there are some incredible products/brands out there that few people knew about. So I started on my journey to bring these products into the NZ spotlight.
In a bid to stand out from the rest I decided to ask my suppliers for 1 of 3 things:
1) to become their exclusive retailer in NZ,
2) to design products specifically for us,
3) and/or offer exclusive importer/distributorship to our sister company www.bentam.co.nz
The response has been astounding! All the people I approached (artists, shops and stay-at-home mums making hand-made goods), thought it was an amazing idea and fully embraced it. With kids products from here in NZ, the UK, America, Japan, Canada and Australia... www.uniqueboutique.co.nz was born!
Everything bought by you has been lovingly chosen by me and finds its way to you wrapped by either myself or one of my team.
