Thula Thula first began when I returned to Australia, from living in the UK for many years, with a new husband and baby on the way. Over the years my children have influenced the design and Thula Thula in many ways.

"Thula" is a Zulu word meaning quiet/tranquil. Fitting well with the way I intend to design my clothing, timeless cuts and draping made into clothes your children will want to wear.

From my tiny little studio I design, pattern make and sew everything. Every design is tested on my own children - the way they move, run and play is taken in to consideration, I believe clothes should be easy to wash and wear. But why not do all this in clothes with style. They are only children once.
